Known as the Lovers, John and Avera Gold are two being who refuse to be separated, even in worship. To worship one is to worship the other, as they have ever considered themselves two sides of the same divinity. For any who love in the myriad ways in which love can manifest, the Lovers shine their lights upon them. There is a tree somewhere in the world, which is in bloom year round, where it is said the Lovers first kissed. There, true love can always be found.
During the Constellation War, Avera used her commanding presence and highly competitive relationship with Pennfold to help lead the forces of Creation. John charged at the head of the lines at Avera's order. They were defeated during the final battle which brought low Lloth, Tyr, and Bane.
