Star and Scale flew the last portion of their trip into Jawhara, entering the desert country and landing prompty in Bal'Aljani.
As they were searched entering the city, they met an old halfling man named Pringle the Wand Ring, who made friends with them due to their proximity in line.
Due to their inexperience in Jawhara, Pringle offered to give them some tips on surviving the desert in exchange for a drink.
The group made their way to a halfling Hazenfayde lounge, and spent the night swapping stories and carousing with Pringle, who explained he was a smuggler, and gave the group a sphere of tungsteel to help them along their journey.
After a night of well-deserved rest at a tavern called the Dusty Cup, the group explored Bal'Aljani, with their first stop being Sandstrider Outfitters, where they bought some tactical desert gear.
Next they heard from Pringle of a store called Dragons! Dragons! Dragons! and met the woman who ran the place, a tiefling named Calica, who loved all things dragons but wasn't the sharpest mind.
Through all the various junk and treasures in her shop, Zeb was able to find a mechanical horse leg which he soon realized belonged to Euripedes, the mechanical mount of Zayv, Lost in the Stars.
While Elowyn bought a medallion that was given to veterans of the Firetide War on the Vadian side, Zeb let Calica know about the leg, which she had never known before.
Calica asked Zeb to return the leg to Nemesis, where it belonged, and he agreed.
That evening, Eden lead the group to the Roydian to check out the training Shem-dom warriors.
She was approached by a tiefling with a stone-cursed face named Sixes, who seemed very friendly. He explained he was a retured Shem-dom and now trained others to fight for the families of Bal'Aljani.
The group took in the sights of the trainees and returned to the Dusty Cup, ready to meet Exile the next day and learn how they can get to hell.
