Detester and Fabiola dropped the Gaping Maw of Sound off at the southern edges of the Phanton Plains with information that a piece of the Sword of Tyr was somewhere within the ever-shifting weird-space of the plains.
The group wandered until finding a shack in which were maps and notes about the plains, with a specific section left blank on all the maps, labeled as a place the owner of the shack would not wander
Tatta became dodgy about answering questions about the plains and what the group would find there, and they at long last came to understand that the god Visuvius made her home here, and she was likely protecting the part they needed. Tatta did not want to find her, claiming she was dangerous.
Obby contacted her dad through the crystal communication artifact he gave her, and he confirmed Visuvius was a dangerous indivudual, and they should be careful.
That night, the group learned through the dream tether that Gift was waging war on the gods, and that LeoJim had also lied about taking the oars from Balastra. They decided to let sleeping dogs lie as long as LeoJim committed himself to helping them reassemble the Sword of Tyr to kill Thrax.
The group found the empty spot on the map and approached, finding the part they needed, as well as Visuvius, just as predicted.
The god welcomed them, and paid special attention to Tatta, and it soon became apparent why he was so hesitant to come here. Visuvius called him Gond, the multiverse god of crafting and forge, and claimed they had a score to settle from the Constellation War.
