With their fully upgraded Hareplane, the Wild Bunch flew over the Silsiluma Mountain Range of Jawhara and entered the southern desert country successfuly.
No sooner had they arrived, however, than they were set upon by one of the infamous "Furies," a sandstorm filled with lethal scraps of metal
With ingenuity and skill, the group navigated the storm and were able to fly to safety, although they noticed a single individual riding within the storm alongside them.
After safely landing, the individual also exited the storm, carrying one of the large scraps of metal. She introduced herself as Erryn, a "Fury Dancer" of Jawhara, and explained much of the Jawharan culture to the newcomers.
The Wild Bunch asked about any Harengon named Jinn in Jawhara, and while Erryn was unfamiliar with the name, upon hearing that Trick's wife was looking for a door, explained that the deep southern tribes of Pantagruelia had myths and lore about something called "The Great Door."
Erryn's people, a group known as the Skylights, soon arrived, and the Wild Bunch learned the Skylights were committed to battling the demons of the desert, all of whom were apparently shades of their mother, a demon known as Orga, whom they were ultimately hunting.
The Wild Bunch decided they wished to begin their search for Jinn in the capital city of Jemenda, but Erryn informed them getting into the city was difficult due to the Rune Veil, a shield around the city that shed heat outward, making the approach lethal if one did not know they proper way.
The Skylights were hot on the tail of their latest demon hunt and had no time to show the Wild Bunch the way into Jemenda, but offered to do so after the hunt if they could help.
In an effort to prove they were up to the challenge of fighting demons, Izala faced off against the leader of the Skylights, who she was easily able to overcome.
That evening, the Wild Bunch and Skylights exchanged stories around a bonfire, and set off the next morning to hunt a desert demon shade of Orga.
